She faces it with bravery, and knowledge head on. As an RN, the preparation for battle every day never discourages her. Nurses are “in the trenches” and “on the front lines of care.” They “go into battle” and if they’re lucky, they “emerge unscathed” ….I’m so proud, and blessed to call this beautiful human being, a true hero in scrubs, my sister. Again, thank you very much for this opportunity.
For that, I am delighted to nominate him as our hero and covid-champion. He loves his job and continues to put in over 100% in every task that he does. There have been times when he works 16+ hours, 10-day work shifts and on-call – he does it without complaint and is aware of the importance of the service Bell provides, especially now, and he will go to every length to restore a customer’s service. Part of his job is to ensure that the cable lines are working, and the flow of service is constant. Given the pandemic, telecommunications is deemed essential and with the increase in the work-from-home and distant learning models, it’s imperative that there is minimal interruption in the internet service to residential and business places – or that the service required for other essential services such as a supermarket or bank to fulfill a transaction is uninterrupted. As the modest and humble person that he is…he will be the first to admit, he is just doing his job.
